Host Grover Silcox catches up with Guss Sabini, a business owner, husband and father of two young children, who continues his rehab journey following a spinal cord injury. One evening, Guss experienced a sudden loss of movement in his legs, caused by a blood clot on the T10 vertebra. From not being able to move his legs at all to now walking with a cane and continuing to progress every day, Guss says he wants more out of his recovery and life.

Host Grover Silcox chats with Wayne Neumann, who lives with neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow. Eventually, tumors developed in Wayne’s upper spine that pushed on nerves, resulting in two different surgeries. On his rehab journey, Wayne has been in long-term acute care (LTACH), inpatient rehabilitation and now outpatient rehabilitation. A former business owner who loves to cook, Wayne’s eagerly getting back to dishing up his favorites, including Indian, Italian and German, for his wife and kids.
